 Routine Brief:
    Checks HDD space and performs actions if exceeding a given space limit. For Windows, BSD, Linux, mac and solaris.

 Description:

The primary operation of this routine has been left to the decision of the user, however as default it can check space availability in either a local drive or a path.

The advantage of the routine is the ability to automatically keep check on space consuming operations elsewhere possibly on the server and take actions if space is running low OR has exceeded a given limit (user has ability to set a limit in settings.).

As a whole the routine can simply run and notify you of low disk space in the event log OR via off-site contact methods like E-mail. A single function resides inside the routine which is called on space clean-up, this function is empty allowing you to apply any kind of clean-up method required.

OS applications:

HDD_Scan.php is able to function on Windows, Unix, BSD, Mac and Solaris. The routine only allows for 1 method to be used (default leaving the rest blank) and ability to change command line used to call disk space.
